You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point e) or f) of Article 6(1) GDPR, including profiling based on those provisions. Cookies

Cookies are used on many websites. Cookies do not harm your computer and they do not contain any viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer and stored in your browser.

Most of the cookies that we use are so-called “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session. Other cookies remain stored on your computer until you delete them explicitly; they enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.

You can change your browser settings, so that you are informed about the use of cookies and can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie. Alternatively, your browser can be configured to automatically accept cookies if certain conditions apply or to always reject them, or to automatically delete cookies when you close the browser. If you disable cookies, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Cookies which are necessary to allow electronic communications or to provide certain functions you wish to use (such as the shopping cart) are stored pursuant to Article 6(1) f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to ensure that the best possible service is provided free of technical errors. Other cookies which are stored on your computer (e.g. cookies for analysing your browsing behaviour) are described elsewhere in this Privacy Statement.

Server log files

Our website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in so-called server log files. This information could be:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

Your data will not be combined with other data sources.

These data are collected pursuant to Article 6(1) f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in ensuring that the best possible service is provided free of technical errors and the server log files must be collected for this purpose.

Contact form

If you send us questions or enquiries using the contact form, we will store the data entered in the form, including any contact details provided by you, to enable us to answer your question or enquiry as well as any follow-up questions. We do not share these data without your consent.

Any data which you enter in the contact form will thus only be processed subject to your consent (Art. 6(1) a GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time. An informal email to this effect is sufficient. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We will retain the data you provide to us in the contact form until you request their erasure or withdraw your consent to storage, or until the purpose for which they have been stored no longer applies (for example, after we have finished processing your enquiry). Any mandatory statutory provisions – for example regarding retention periods – shall remain unaffected.

Enquiries by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry – including all personal data provided in connection with it (name, enquiry details) – are stored and processed by us to enable us to answer your enquiry. We do not share these data without your consent.

Such data are processed pursuant to Article 6(1) b GDPR insofar as your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1) a GDPR) and / or on our legitimate interests (Art 6(1) f GDPR) because we have a legitimate interest in processing any enquiries addressed to us efficiently.

We will retain the data you provide to us in the contact form until you request their erasure or withdraw your consent to storage, or until the purpose for which they have been stored no longer applies (for example, after we have finished processing your enquiry). Any mandatory statutory provisions – for example regarding statutory retention periods – shall remain unaffected.

IP anonymization

We have activated the “anonymizeIP” option on this website. This means that Google will remove the end of your IP address prior to transmission to the United States, so it only locates you as within the member states of the European Union or other members of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate how you use the website, compile reports on website activity and offer the website operator other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. Google will never associate your IP address as transmitted by Google Analytics from your browser with any other data held by Google.

Objection to data collection

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you by clicking the following link: An opt-out cookie is then placed on your computer to prevent any future collection of your data when you visit this website. Disable Google Analytics.

For more information on how Google Analytics processes user data, you can review the Google privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

We have signed an agreement with Google to handle order processing and the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities are fully implemented when using Google Analytics.

Google Analytics Demographics

This website has enabled Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, which helps us target audiences based on the age, sex and interests of visitors to our sites. These data come from interest based advertising by Google as well as the visitor statistics of third-party providers. They cannot be associated with a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account or prohibit the collection of data about you by Google Analytics as described under “Objection to data collection by Google Analytics”.

6. Plugins and tools

YouTube with Enhanced Privacy

Our website uses plugins from YouTube. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

We use YouTube in Enhanced Privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode prevents YouTube from storing information about visitors to this site before they watch the video. However, sharing data with YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by this mode. YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network, whether you watch a video or not.

In addition, after launching a video, YouTube may store various cookies on your device. These cookies will provide YouTube with information about your visit to our website. Amongst other things, this information is used by YouTube to gather information for video statistics, to improve usability and to prevent fraud. The cookies remain stored on your computer until you delete them explicitly.

Launching a YouTube video may lead to further data processing over which we have no control.

YouTube is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1) f GDPR.

For more information on YouTube’s privacy policy, you can review the Google privacy policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

To use Google Maps, we are required to store your IP address. This information will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The operator of this website has no control over data which is transmitted in this way.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our website and also to make it easier to find the places mentioned by us on this website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1) f GDPR.
